The University of New Brunswick agrees to provide to the Association and make readily available to the University Community on or before February 1 a list of all academic and non-academic organizational units. The list will show the number of full-time AUNBT and non-AUNBT employees in each unit throughout the preceding calendar year, by academic rank or employment classification. For full-time Association members, the list will also specify the numbers of tenure, tenure stream and term appointees as of October 1 by department (where applicable) and faculty.

Article 13.04 of the Full-Time Collective Agreement

The charts on this page are an overview of the full-time complement data, for full-time limited term and tenure-track positions, as received from UNB pursuant to Article 13.04 of the Full Time Collective Agreement. The numbers represent the full-time faculty headcount as of October 1 in each year.

More detailed data (by faculty and department) are available in the source documents linked below and will be posted on a separate page on the AUNBT website.

Note that this count includes Deans, Associate Deans, Assistant Deans, and faculty-elected members of the Board of Governors (and therefore differs from the AUNBT full-time membership count — by approximately 50 positions).

Source files and other information

Complement and other data are available online in a different format in the University Fact Book maintained by UNB’s Office of Institutional Analysis, as well as in the President’s annual reports to UNB Senates. Both include complement data by rank and by gender. However, the files posted by the Office of Institutional Analysis do not currently seem to be up to date, at least on the publicly accessible part of UNB’s pages.
